Australia has granted NurExone a patent covering the production of extracellular vesicles from stem cells, further expanding the Company’s international patent family around exosome biomanufacturing.

This follows previously announced patents in Israel and the United States, with additional applications under examination in other jurisdictions.

As NurExone advances its manufacturing capabilities and clinical-readiness strategy, expanding IP protection across key markets is another step in building long-term value.

This is a really important milestone for NurExone....

Today’s strategic (non-binding) LOI between our U.S. subsidiary, Exo-Top, and BioXtek marks an important step on two critical fronts: therapeutic advancement and commercial readiness.

On the therapeutic side, the planned collaboration is expected to support U.S. GMP manufacturing and clinical supply of naïve MSC exosomes, an important building block for the future clinical development of ExoPTEN.

On the commercial side, it could open new opportunities for broader exosome manufacturing and supply in the U.S. and beyond, combining Exo-Top’s proprietary Master Cell Bank and exosome production know-how with BioXtek’s established Florida-based GMP infrastructure.

This is a meaningful step forward in building the capabilities needed to support both clinical progress and commercial opportunity.

Excited to move ahead together.

Why did someone with experience at the highest levels of healthcare, government, and finance choose to join NurExone’s board?

A recent profile of Eyal Gabbai by Gali Weinreb in Globes offers some insight!

Gabbai, currently Chairman of Meuhedet Health Services and formerly Director General of the Prime Minister’s Office and Director of the Government Companies Authority, described NurExone co-founder Yoram Drucker as “an optimistic person, but one who does not let optimism blind him,” calling that “a rare combination among entrepreneurs.” On NurExone’s work in spinal cord injury, he added that based on the Company’s animal studies, “it seems this is not a dream. It is very hard to say no to something like that.”

In a newly published BioProcess International e-book, exosomes are recognized as an emerging modality in biopharma!

In the article, Lior Shaltiel, PhD, describes what will be required for the field to mature for various markets, including GMP-grade manufacturing, strong CMC foundations, validated potency, and reproducible biological activity.

At NurExone, ExoPTEN is our lead focus as we advance exosome-based therapeutics for CNS injury and functional recovery, while the broader platform and manufacturing foundation we are building may also support future opportunities in aesthetics. 🔬🚀

A key part of the path to clinic in biotech is proving you can make the same biology, again and again 🔁🔬.

New independent proteomics data across four NurExone exosome batches shows strong batch-to-batch consistency and a differentiated protein signature versus commercial references, supporting our manufacturing and regulatory roadmap 🧬🏁.
