Master MSDM Il Master forma professionisti di alto livello nella progettazione costruzione e gestione di infrast in Architettura, Ingegneria, Design e/o discipline affini.

Il Master intende formare professionisti di elevato livello in grado di operare con successo nell’ambito dell’ideazione, programmazione, progettazione, costruzione e gestione delle infrastrutture sportive, secondo logiche e competenze trasversali e multidisciplinari, allineate ai recenti provvedimenti normativi in materia. E’ riservato a candidati in possesso di Laurea V.O., Laurea Specialistica/M

agistrale N.O. La domanda di ammissione dovrà essere presentata entro il 15 luglio 2017 via mail o tramite sito web. Sono previste borse di studio.

The Master wants to train professional figures able to act with success in the field of sport infrastructure design, programming, planning, construction, management according to transversal and multidisciplinary logics and skills. The Specializing Master is reserved to candidates with a Laurea Magistrale (equivalent to Master of Science) in Architecture, Engineering, Design and/or similar disciplines. First site visit and technical session with John D’Arcy (Head of Safety at Craven Cottage, ).

Thanks to John, we explored all seven levels of the incredible new Riverside Stand—a truly self-contained, multifunctional building overlooking the Thames and seamlessly integrated with the existing stadium.

It is a benchmark for stadium design and a unique facility in Europe.

The tour also included the "Cottage" and the historic stands, both protected as heritage sites.

These structures still feature the original wooden seating and the cast-iron framework designed by Archibald Leitch.

While these historic elements are essential to the venue’s identity, they make safety management uniquely complex.

On the occasion of "Sustainability Week" in London, the Master MSDM (Politecnico di Milano and POLIMI Graduate School of Management), in synergy and collaboration with Populous, organized a series of site visits and thematic workshops.

The program focused on the design and management of complex infrastructures, balancing infrastructural, economic, environmental, and social sustainability.

The itinerary included visits to five stadiums over three intensive days, along with two workshops at the Populous London headquarters, allowing participants to experience firsthand the most innovative trends in next-generation stadium design and management.

This initiative naturally found its home in the UK—the cradle of football (and tennis)—and specifically in London, a city with an extraordinary density of sports infrastructure. It represents a unique opportunity for Master MSDM students to engage directly with top-tier managers and designers.

The group also included two representatives from Bluenergy Group Spa, the Master’s new partner, further strengthening the connection between academic excellence and leaders in energy and sustainability.
