Big Bang extraction at Ozone Coffee Roasters 🍎☕

From the London Coffee Festival, we stopped by Ozone Coffee Roasters to explore how the right setup can completely shape the cup.

For this extraction, we used the IMS Big Bang filter paired with the dedicated Big Bang puck screen: a combination designed to improve water distribution and create a more balanced extraction across the entire coffee bed.

The result? A cup with a vibrant profile and clear flavor definition:

Ever wondered what’s behind an IMS integrated membrane shower screen?

It all starts with photoetching, a precision manufacturing process that creates perfectly uniform micro-holes, impossible to achieve with traditional drilling methods.

Starting from a stainless steel, each sheet is carefully cleaned and coated with a photosensitive film before moving through the production process. After etching, every shower screen is laser marked, shaped into its final form and individually inspected.

Because at IMS, every detail matters: if a component doesn’t meet our standards, it doesn’t leave the factory.

The result? A 200-micron integrated membrane shower screen designed to combine high performance, uniform extraction, and easy maintenance in a single component.

Today, we’re creating a refreshing Hibiscus Mocktail using Herbpress. 🌱

Recipe:

Set the machine to 88-93°C.
Extract Hibiscus Harmony with HerbpressTM for 60 seconds.
In a glass, pour 30ml VRMH, then 30ml BTTR, and finally add the infusion.
Garnish with an orange slice. The result? A fresh, aromatic drink with a bitter twist and citrusy notes.

Ingredients:

30ml VRMH
30ml BTTR
80ml Hibiscus Harmony
Orange slice for garnish

Perfect for a non-alcoholic aperitif to enjoy with friends!
