Can I make a better espresso with my De’Longhi Dedica? ☕⚙️

Absolutely! And the first upgrade starts inside your portafilter.

A pressurized basket uses a small outlet to slow down water flow and create foam, even when the grind size isn’t ideal. But crema doesn’t always mean a balanced espresso.

That’s where the IMS Competition filter comes in.

Can I extract specialty coffee with a single basket? ☕⚡

Yes, but with a traditional single basket, the coffee puck is often very thin. This can make it harder to create enough resistance for the water, leading to less even extraction and less flavor clarity in the cup.

That’s why the IMS Step Down 1 Cup was designed with a narrower and deeper shape.
