Back from the Scottish Skipper Expo in Aberdeen, where FPT Distributor, Breakwater Marine Engineers ltd, welcomed visitors and industry professionals for two days of networking and innovation within the commercial fishing sector.

Established as one of Europe’s leading commercial fishing exhibitions, the Scottish Skipper Expo once again provided a valuable platform for suppliers and industry stakeholders to connect and exchange insights.

At Booth D6, Breakwater Marine showcased the FPT CURSOR 9 featuring the SCR IMO Tier III compliant solution, designed and engineered on FPT marine engines by Frydenbø, alongside the N45 Marine G-Drive. Visitors also had the opportunity to explore FPT Genuine Parts, MyFPT telematics, and Remote Master solutions.

Back from Navalia in Vigo, Spain, where FPT Distributor, Bimotor SpA, took part in one of the leading international events for the shipbuilding and maritime industry.

The exhibition once again brought together key players from across the sector, at the Bimotor booth, visitors had the opportunity to explore a selection of FPT engines, alongside a dedicated showcase of FPT original spare parts.

A key highlight throughout the event was the MARINA MERCANTE certification, available for selected FPT commercial engines and specific power ratings approved for fishing operations in Spain. This important certification reflects FPT’s commitment to delivering compliance, reliability, and high performance in demanding marine environments.

Recently, Τεκμαρ ΕΠΕ-Tekmar Ltd. and its partner C & R Motorboat were pleased to participate in the Boat & Sea Expo 2026, Cyprus’ leading marine industry trade fair.

Participation at this year’s exhibition was highly positive! At the C & R Motorboat booth, the C90 410 engine attracted considerable interest, with several discussions focused on its performance capabilities and marine applications.

The iconic Cramignon ferry in Eijsden, Netherlands, is now powered by an FPT engine thanks to our Distributor Marant.

In collaboration with its customer, Scheepsreparatiebedrijf Oudakker B.V., Marant supplied the ferry with a 110 kW N40 engine, ensuring the power needed to transport passengers safely across the Meuse River.

Compact, cost-effective, and reliable, the N40 Stage V marine engine proved to be the ideal solution for delivering smooth and efficient daily operations in the South Limburg region.
