Today we held our Safety Commemoration Day at the Husab mine, reaffirming our commitment to the safety, health and wellbeing of our people. The occasion carried forward the message of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work.

For our SU family, this date carries deep personal significance.

The day’s programme included incident experience sharing, messages from executive leadership, the unveiling and signing of the Safety Pledge for Mining and Processing.

Guided by our I-CARE culture, we reaffirm our commitment to sustained safety leadership and shared responsibility among management, employees and business partners. This means addressing risks, acting on concerns and looking out for one another every day.
