LOCAL SUPPLIERS’ WORKSHOP – The recently concluded Upstream Oil and Gas Local Supplier’s workshop ended with insightful presentations by service companies who shared valuable information on how to become subcontractors for petroleum projects.

The Namibia Training Authority (NTA) and Petrofund Namibia today held a courtesy engagement between NTA CEO, Mr Erick Fundula Nenghwanya and Petrofund CEO, Ms Nillian Mulemi. The discussions focused on areas of mutual interest in skills development for Namibia’s emerging oil and gas sector, including potential collaboration in technical and vocational education and training (TVET). The engagement also highlighted the strategic role of the Keetmanshoop Vocational Training Centre - KVTC, earmarked as Namibia’s oil and gas training hub, in preparing a skilled workforce to support the country’s growing energy industry.
