Every business has a motto. Ours started with one line from Dad.

A customer said they wanted the job done, and Greg told them, "Oh, we'll do it once and we'll do it right." It stuck, and it's been the GDC motto ever since.

Nobody wants us coming back to redo things. So we get it right the first time, every time.

Most people know us from the trucks on the road. There's a lot more behind them.

We can take a full farm development from bare paddock to finished, with land clearing, irrigation, the dairy shed, laneways and effluent ponds. We install power too, and we still do the civil work around town that most people know us for.

One crew handles the whole job.

A few months on, and we’re still incredibly proud of the achievement.

We were honoured to be recognised at the ANZ Business of the Year Awards, taking home the Supreme Award along with several other category awards.

When you ring GDC, you're dealing with the family.

Michael, Blake and Lane each run their own side of the business: contracting, drilling and the workshop. Greg's still in the office every day. It's the same people and the same standard, and it's going to stay that way.
