Hopuhopu Development… this one’s different for us at JK. Big Mihi goes out to Waikato-Tainui and Downey Construction for trusting us to be a part of this for Aluminum joinery supply.

For me personally, there’s a genuine connection to the whenua here and that brings a different level of meaning to the work being delivered.

Acknowledgement to Waikato-Tainui, the whakaaro behind this development is clear, and it’s being carried through in the way the project is being executed.

We’re proud to play a part in delivering Thermal aluminium joinery to the first 30 homes that are built well and built to last.

Downey Construction has done Tainui proud. This process would not have been possible for JK Glass and Aluminium without their support. Their ability to remain grounded and consistently open to kōrero has made a real difference throughout the project.

Not every job is a big one.
Quick run down to Tauranga with the boys today — small install and glaze, but it meant a lot to the client with the weather closing in.
Cyclone on the way, so it was heads down, get it done properly, no shortcuts. Safety first as always.
Windows are in, job’s secure, and everyone’s back home warm with a feed and a cold one.
