What does it take to move a 24-tonne building? A lot of planning, teamwork, and the right equipment. 🏗️

Universal Cranes recently assisted Mako Commercial with the relocation of The Botanic Hub, including the move of staff amenities, the administration office, and the 24-tonne Hub building featured in this clip.

We're proud to have played a part in delivering this project safely and smoothly alongside the Mako team.

Great work by everyone involved.

A great lift completed over the weekend at Maraetai Beach, where our team successfully lifted a tiny home 48 metres up and over the client’s property using our Liebherr LTM1230. Great work by everyone involved! 👏

Another successful project completed for Leisurecom Modular Homes at Waihi Beach.

Our team completed a 3-piece move to help bring this impressive 2-storey home with garage to life.

Great teamwork and planning from everyone involved to ensure a smooth and safe delivery from start to finish.

Our 300t Grove operated by Jason Wray and the Iveco 820 Fassi with W***y Akau are hard at work between Taupo and Napier, supporting Electrix with the construction of new power pylons.

Proud to see the team delivering precision, safety, and reliability on another major infrastructure project helping power communities across New Zealand.

Work is underway in West Auckland to dismantle and replace two ageing RNZ transmission masts.

The 92-year-old northern mast is being carefully dismantled, while the southern mast will be partially removed by helicopter before crane works continue.

Both structures have exceeded their design life and will be replaced with a new, modern mast to support ongoing AM transmission and emergency broadcasting for the region.

Proud to be part of a project that helps keep communities connected 📡

🚧 Project Update: Mangati Road Bridge 🚧
We’re proud to share that the Mangati Road Bridge is now in place! A great milestone for the project and the Otorohanga community.
Getting to site wasn’t without its challenges—the access road was tricky to navigate, and we had to secure a single trip permit just to get the crane across one of the bridges. A big effort behind the scenes to make it all happen.
Despite the challenges, the day ran smoothly thanks to the incredible teamwork on site. It was great to see the community getting involved too—some local residents stopped by and were amazed watching the crane lift a transport trailer!
Well done to everyone involved 👏
