From breaking ground on 1 September to final handovers in early May, this 26-unit project in Mangawhai has been an awesome example of what strong collaboration can achieve.

The first 7 units were handed over to the Metlifecare sales team in March, with the remaining homes completed in early May.

A huge thank you to our subcontractors, suppliers, and merchant partners who worked alongside the BMC team to make this deadline not only achievable, but smooth from start to finish.

We’re excited to officially introduce Shaun, BMC’s Chief Financial Officer!

Shaun’s journey in accounting and finance began at 18, driven by a natural knack for numbers and a love of problem-solving. Today, as CFO of BMC, he combines sharp financial expertise with strategic leadership to keep operations running smoothly and help the company’s brands grow and thrive.

When he’s not optimising budgets or crunching numbers, Shaun can often be found catching up with friends over coffee, or enjoying a beer at the pub in the sun. An amateur runner with a competitive streak, he’s also a proud dog dad to Riley, his cocker spaniel.

We’re excited to have Shaun on board and look forward to the experience and leadership he brings to the BMC team!

We did it!

On Friday, the BMC team completed The Long Run, covering an incredible 436kms together. We had team members down at the park putting in the hard yards, and others completing the challenge virtually. All working towards the same goal.

It was a long, tough day, but nothing compared to what some tamariki and their whānau face every single day.

The BMC Central Charity Golf Day was one for the books. Good weather, great company, and an incredible $20,025.94 raised for The Kidney Society!

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us - players, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters. Your generosity made it a day to remember!
