We are really proud to support one of our team members here at Kalos. Caleb has been involved with darts with the Palmerston North District Darts League.

This year he has taken it up a gear and for 2026 is in the DPNZ Pro circuit, which involves him traveling the country for weekend tournaments.

The Eagle Has Landed: Christchurch & The Grand Finale of our Nationwide Road Trip! 🦅🏔️🏁

What a way to wrap up an incredible journey. I’ve officially landed in the Garden City, handed the keys to the new vehicle over to Philip, and finished the final leg of a trip that has showcased the very best of Lee Builders.

This wasn’t just a vehicle delivery—it was a delivery of our in-house craftsmanship. Tucked in the back was a stunning new kitchen for our Christchurch office, designed and produced by our talented specialist joinery team in the Manawatu. This is the "Lee Builders Advantage" in action—controlling the quality from the workshop to the final install. 🛠️✨

Today in Christchurch has been a whirlwind of what we do best:
* Collaboration: Productive sessions with Oceania, Citycare and Kūmānu (Nelmac Limited) continuing our beleif that working together strengthens us all.
* On-Site Excellence: Visited a New Zealand Police site to see the fantastic work Christian and Philip have been doing. Their attention to detail and commitment to security-standard maintenance is second to none.
* Office Collaboration: It’s been great to work out of our Christchurch hub today with Kevin, Craig and Scott, reinforcing our "one team, nationwide" culture.

Today was a reminder that New Zealand’s weather is as diverse as the projects we manage!

I’ve traveled from the sunshine of Nelson and Blenheim to the misty, rugged beauty of Kaikōura. Along the way, I spent time with Andy and Mark in Picton, who are doing an incredible job in one of the most stunning retirement villages you’ll ever see. Finishing the day in Kaikōura, I had the chance to check out our work on a Police house—a project that highlights our role as a trusted partner for government and public sector maintenance. ⚖️🚓

The road trip continues! Last night was spent catching up with Rog before setting off this morning as we toured our sites across Nelson, Stoke, and Motueka.

It’s been an eye-opening morning seeing the sheer breadth and scale of the work Lee Builders is delivering. We’ve been checking in on our projects with Oceania, where the focus is on precision, safety, and ensuring high-quality living environments for their residents.

People often ask what kind of "building" we do. The answer? Everything. 🛠️🏢
From 0large-scale commercial maintenance in the city to specialized facility repairs in coastal Motueka, the diversity of our work sites is what makes us the best in the business.

Reflections from the Strait: Sunset across the strait an nightfall in Picton & A Huge Thank You to the Team 🚢⛰️**

As I pull into Picton after a smooth crossing of the Cook Strait, I’ve taken a moment to reflect on what an incredible day it’s been. Driving a new addition to our fleet down to its permanent home in Christchurch has given me a front-row seat to two things I’m incredibly proud of: this beautiful country we call home, and the world-class team at Lee Builders

From the sunrise at Shannon to the coastal beauty of the Kapiti Coast, through to the busy hubs of Lower Hutt and Karori—today has been a masterclass in why we do what we do. 🇳🇿🔨
