🏡 A little more space, a fresh new look and a whole lot of difference!

We’re excited to share some drone footage of our recently completed Papakowhai renovation.

Our clients wanted to modernise their existing home and create more room for everyday living. The project included a new extension, roof, windows, gutters, solar panels and exterior paint, along with a new deck and balustrade to make the most of the outdoor space.

The result is a refreshed home with more space, plenty of natural light and a great connection between indoor and outdoor living. ☀️

It’s always rewarding to see a project come together and our clients’ vision become reality.

Thanks to our clients and the team of trades who helped bring this one to life!

A huge congratulations to our very own Michelle Key! 🏆

We’re incredibly proud to share that Michelle took home Refresh Renovations New Zealand Project Manager of the Year at the awards ceremony in Auckland on Friday night! 🎉

Michelle is an absolute star when it comes to keeping renovations on track, on budget and running as smoothly as possible. Her organisation, attention to detail and ability to juggle all the moving parts of a renovation are second to none. Add her clear communication, problem-solving skills and genuine care for her clients, and it’s easy to see why she’s so deserving of this recognition.

A special shout-out also goes to Jenelle Winstanley, who was a finalist for Renovation Consultant of the Year, and Bodil Giversen Macintosh, a finalist for Administrator of the Year. 👏 Being recognised alongside the best in the business is a fantastic achievement, and we’re so proud to have all three of you on our team!

It was a great night celebrating the talent, hard work and dedication of the Refresh network. We’re lucky to have such an awesome team here at Refresh Renovations Wellington - Mark Morrison.

Well done, Michelle, Jenelle and Bodil - you’ve done us proud! 🎉

We are loving the plumbing fixtures, colour palette and selections in this Khandallah bathroom renovation! 😍

These homeowners have absolutely nailed the balance of warm, modern and a little bit luxe, from the gorgeous brushed brass tapware and towel rail, to the fluted vanities and those beautiful arched mirrors.

And we love how the same design details have been carried through the bathroom, ensuite and WCs, creating a cohesive look while giving each space its own personality.

Proof that the details really do make the room. ✨

Our client, Sarah's, brief was simple: freshen up her dated apartment in central Wellington with new kitchen, entryway cabinetry, a new vanity, flooring and painting throughout - on a tight budget.

We think the results speak for themselves! We're delighted with how this renovation turned out - and so is Sarah!

⭐ CLIENT LOVE ⭐

Reviews like this really do mean the world to us. It’s so nice to hear that our clients are happy with their renovation and, just as importantly, the experience of getting there.

We recently helped these homeowners in Churton Park transform their former garage into a comfortable, liveable space, complete with a bedroom, lounge and bathroom.

From the initial design through to council requirements and coordinating all the trades, our team worked closely with the clients to find the right balance between what they wanted and what was realistic for their budget.

We’re so pleased with how it all turned out, and it’s lovely to hear they’d happily work with Jenelle, Michelle and the team again. ❤️

A big thank you to our clients for taking the time to share their experience and for trusting us with their home. We really appreciate it!

🏡 A few progress shots from a Papakowhai renovation we’re working on.

This project includes a new extension, new roof, windows, gutters and solar panels and a full exterior paint - quite a few moving parts, but it’s coming together nicely.

The extension has opened up a really good-sized living area, with loads of natural light and doors looking out to a future deck.

Up on the new roof, the new gutters are in and the solar panels are going on too. ☀️

There’s still a bit to do before we can call this one finished, but we thought we’d share a couple of photos of how it’s looking so far.
More to come when we're finished! 👀

👋 Meet Jenelle!

If you’ve ever wondered where to start with a renovation, Jenelle is the friendly face you’re likely to meet along the way.

As our superstar Renovation Consultant, Jenelle works with homeowners at the beginning of their renovation journey, getting to know what they’re hoping to achieve, what’s not working in their home and, importantly, what they’d love it to feel like when it’s finished.

And after many years with Refresh, she knows a thing or two about renovations! 🏠🔨

One of the things we love about what we do is that no two projects are the same. Some people have a very clear vision from day one, while others know their home needs a change but aren’t quite sure what that looks like yet. That’s where Jenelle comes in.

She loves getting to know our clients, talking through their ideas and helping turn those “wouldn’t it be great if…” conversations into a plan.

Over the coming weeks, Jenelle will be sharing some of her renovation tips, answering some of the questions we get asked all the time and giving you a little behind-the-scenes look at some of our projects happening around Wellington.

Watch this space! 👀

💬 Fun fact: Jenelle has won the Refresh New Zealand Renovation Consultant of the Year award four times in the seven years she has worked with us! We think that's pretty awesome 👏

Check out this stunning laundry renovation we’ve just completed in Whitby!

The owners’ brief was simple: stylish, functional, and with a dedicated home for the robot vacuum.

Mission accomplished! 🙌

Another practical space that looks great and works hard for everyday life.
