Geotechnical investigations underway in Kinloch ☀️

Due to the scale and complexity of the proposed multi-level development, additional testing was carried out to better understand the site’s ground conditions. With large cuts, retaining, and fill across split platforms, a detailed ground profile is essential to inform foundation design.

Refusal was met relatively shallow, introducing potential complications to the proposed cuts on site. It also gave us an insight into appropriate foundations and the scale of machinery that will be required for construction.

We recently undertook Geotech investigations for cow feed shed.

The varying subsoil profile indicated that earthworks will also vary and will require engineering input during construction.

Stormwater outflow options were discussed, and a suitable discharge solution was agreed upon based on the use of the land and the lack of risk involved with discharge.
