The JDH take on a Mid-Century Modern (MCM) home in Lincoln beautifully marries classic design with contemporary living. Its simple yet striking red brick facade exudes warmth, featuring elegant curved walls that invite you in with a sense of openness and charm.

The alfresco spaces enhance the connection between indoor and outdoor living. The frontage alfresco area is perfect for leisurely afternoons or casual gatherings, while the rear alfresco off the kitchen is designed to flood the space with natural light. The thoughtfully crafted brick screen offers both privacy and panoramic views, effectively extending the living area and creating a seamless transition between spaces.

The consistent use of soft curves throughout both the exterior and interior design fosters a harmonious flow, embodying the essence of MCM style and promoting a tranquil living environment.

THE SPLASH HUT

The vision was to rework the small cottage into a classic Kiwi bach. Using a simple palette of local materials, bright colours and patterns, they have transformed a basic weatherboard home into a bright and playful seaside retreat.
