I made a consolidated list of Philippine-based journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and the ASEAN Citation Index. Notice that most journals do not charge any publication fees. All of them are managed and published by credible institutions.

As the new list of Scopus-indexed journals are out now, I made a non-exhaustive list of Scopus-indexed journals based in or published by institutions in Southeast Asia that have no article processing charges/publication fees. I have not included Indonesian and Singaporean journals yet as they have so many journals to explore.

Dear great robotics entusiast,

Congratulations to the coaches and participants! Kudos to the innovators who became sellers of robot equipment, parts, and kits for the competition. I bow to the students and coaches who made DIY robots for competition and even won.

2027 saw Pinoy Robot Games slow down due to changes internally and also DepEd Scheduling. Expect resurgence by 2028 which will include games for 19yo and above. Summer (April or May) 2028 will see competitions too. We hope your group can find support from parents during summer.

Robot Soccer (mini), Sumobot (mini-500g) and Combat Robots are still trying to find a permanent host (hopefully in NCR). We are also planning to invite international players for this event. Email your teams and contact details so we can include you in the information blast.

We, together with some SUC, are also making new designs, (considering new technology releases) for competition level robots. On the other hand, for teachers who bring robotics in the classroom integrated with TLE, MATH, SCIENCE, etc as an applied learning (PBL), we have evaluated various supplier kits and have come up with strong recommendation of an IDEAL SET for robotics instructions. Email us for more details.

We hope that through the cooperation of LGUs in every region, together with a supportive SDO, the local SUC, college student groups, and other relevant agencies, strong regional events can be held and supported to keep our young people engaged in making friends, making robots, making solutions for communities, and having fun.
