We’re proud to be part of the Henry L. Dragun Science Building Renovations at Anne Arundel Community College.
This is not a standard ceiling and drywall package. This project features a significant scope of high-end architectural specialty systems, including:
• Armstrong Lyra Radial (APC-8) custom radial ceiling system
• Armstrong/ACGI GB1 & Solo Baffle Systems (WDC-1, WDC-3)
• ACGI Allegro Series 1 custom curved wood veneer panels (WDW-2, WDW-4)
• ACGI SS1 custom flat and curved wood veneer panels (WDW-3, WDW-6, WDW-7)
• Custom wood veneer grille walls and acoustic backer systems (WDW-5)
• GRG trim systems (Armstrong CastWorks)
• Arktura VaporSoft torsion-spring metal ceiling panels
• Acoufelt QuietForm acoustic wall systems
Many of these systems carry extended shop drawing and production lead times of 12–20+ weeks and require precise sequencing, coordination, and craftsmanship.
This is the type of project that showcases what JHM does best — executing complex, architecturally driven spaces with precision.
More importantly, this project supports the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators. We take pride in building the facilities that allow future generations to continue their education and pursue careers that shape our world.
We are honored to continue our decades-long partnership with Lewis Contractors on this renovation. Our relationship spans generations — built on trust, performance, and the ability to deliver when the details matter most.
Projects like this reflect what JHM and Lewis have instilled in our industry:
Craftsmanship.
Accountability.
Long-term partnership.
And a commitment to building facilities that stand the test of time.
This is the standard.
