Robot Joe slept through the whole thing… but the rest of us were BUSY! 🤖💤😂

WATTAGE’s Power Nap Pit Stop was a hit at JOLO Farms’ Trunk or Treat! We handed out close to 2,000 “midnight snacks” and “night lights” while Joe stayed tucked in with his blankets and stuffed animals. Apparently, being a robot is exhausting. 🤷‍♀️⚡

Thank you to Jolo Farms - Beck’s Hybrids for hosting, everyone who stopped by, and our team families who helped pull it all together! We loved meeting so many people and sharing what WATTAGE Team 8608 is all about. 💙💛

Have a student in 7th–12th grade? They can apply to join our team! The off-season is a great time to come check us out, meet the crew, and see what we do. Our season starts January 9th, so come get plugged in now! ⚡ Send us a message to learn more!

Joe’s batteries are recharged. The rest of us could use a nap. 😂🎃

10/24/2026

⚡🤖 SHHH… our robot is taking a power nap! 😴🎃

Apparently, competing at Worlds and 2 off season events really wears a robot out. 😂 Come see WATTAGE Team 8608 at our Power Nap Pit Stop TONIGHT at JOLO Farms, 4–7 PM!

We’ll have candy for your “midnight snack” and glow sticks for your “night light.” Come in costume, meet the team, and see if Robot Joe can sleep through all the trunk-or-treat excitement! 🍬

👇 If a robot dreamed, what would it dream about?
Wrong answers encouraged. 😆

We’re guessing unlimited batteries and a world where nobody says, “Have you tried turning it off and back on?” 😂🔋

Drop your guess below, then swing by tonight! 💙💛

⚡ HELP POWER OUR NEXT SEASON! ⚡

WATTAGE Robotics Team 8608 is now accepting sponsors for our upcoming season!

Behind every robot is a group of students learning to build, code, solve problems, and work together and a community helping make it possible. 💙💛

Your sponsorship helps support robot parts, tools, competition fees, and the experiences that give students the confidence to say, “We built that!”

We’re looking for local businesses, families, and community partners ready to invest in these hardworking kids. Whether you own a business or know someone who would love to get involved, we’d love to connect!

📩 Message our page or email **[email protected]** for sponsorship information.

Can’t sponsor right now? Share this post! Helping us reach the right people makes a difference, too.

Let’s build something great together. GO WATTAGE! ⚡

⚡ **NEW FUNDRAISER FOR POWER IN ROBOTICS, INC.!** ⚡

Want to support our students and robotics programs without spending anything extra? This might be the easiest fundraiser we’ve ever shared. 💙💛

We are now participating in **RaiseRight**, a gift card fundraising program!

Here’s how it works:

You purchase gift cards for places you’re already spending money at anyway, including restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, clothing stores, home improvement stores, travel, entertainment and MANY more.

🎁 Buy a gift card.
🛒 Use it just like you normally would.
⚡ A percentage of your purchase comes back to **Power In Robotics, Inc.**

That’s it!

There is **no extra donation required**. Instead of changing where you shop or asking you to buy something you don’t need, you can simply purchase gift cards for your normal everyday spending and RaiseRight sends a portion back to our organization.

Think:
🍔 Going out to dinner? Buy the gift card first.
⛽ Need gas? Check RaiseRight.
🛒 Grocery shopping? Grab a gift card.
🎄 Christmas shopping coming up? This is PERFECT.
🎁 Need a birthday or teacher gift? Gift cards count too!

Those little percentages can add up FAST when a whole community gets involved, and every dollar helps us provide opportunities for students through **Power In Robotics, Inc. and WATTAGE | FRC Team 8608.** ⚡🤖

**Joining is easy!**

👉 Enroll here:
https://www.raiseright.com/enroll/6JTTPNYXJNJK?utm_source=coordinator_invite&utm_medium=invite_link&utm_campaign=invite_hub_invite_tools

**Our enrollment code:**
⚡ 6JTTPNYXJNJK

Once you’re enrolled, you can start purchasing gift cards right from the program and supporting our team through purchases you were already going to make.

💙 **Shop like normal. Spend what you were already going to spend. Help power the future of robotics.**

And please SHARE this post! The more families, friends, grandparents, businesses, alumni and community supporters who participate, the more those everyday purchases can turn into something pretty powerful. ⚡

Looking back on the girls event, my heart is just really full. 💙⚡

Somewhere along the way, robotics became so much more than robots and competitions. It became late nights, inside jokes, people who show up when it matters, and friendships we never expected to find.

So thankful for our mentors who pour so much into these kids, the parents who stand beside them through it all, and the teammates who have become family.

Watching our girls compete, laugh, encourage each other, and make another memory together was pretty special.

The robots brought us together, but the people are what make this journey mean so much. 🤍

So incredibly thankful for this team and every friendship we’ve made along the way. ⚡💙

Join our team… open house October 29th 6:00-730pm
