More often than not, my job involves uncovering the potential fail point. In this case what I uncovered involved a condenser coil that "looked clean" with a lizard 🦎 and a lot of weeds. This was what created the “snowball effect” of overheating the system, causing the compressor to work on overdrive and eventually fail. Compressors normally don’t go out overnight, it’s lack of proper maintenance, system imbalances and gross neglect that causes expensive repairs like these. The good news is, with proper care cases like this are preventable. As much as I like the business, it’s not a good feeling being called to fix damage that shouldn’t have happened in the first place.
