MSK Engineers

Bennington region friends! We are spreading the word about a fabulous new show running all of December. It’s a fresh take on the Christmas Carol classic, set right here in 1926 Bennington, Vermont. A big congrats to MSK team member Tom Stevens, who’s performing in the show, and unbelievably, NINE relatives of MSK staff are in the cast as well!

Go check it out and support some amazing local talent! 🎭✨

“A Bennington Christmas Carol” is a new musical written by Brian Haner. It’s the classic Dickens tale – with a twist.

Some great shots this week from our team up on Mt. Ascutney, where we’re providing planning, permitting, design development, and construction services for the Mount Ascutney Parkway Engineering Project. The summit road, a popular route for visitors seeking a less strenuous ascent, is now in need of extensive rehabilitation and reconstruction. ❄️🏔️❄️

We had so much fun running, walking, and web-slinging our way through Saturday’s Superhero 5K to support the United Counseling Service of Bennington! Their work makes a real difference in our community, and we love being part of this event each year. 💪⚡️

We had a great time at the Green Mountain Water Environment Association’s annual Fall Tradeshow! Vermont’s largest and longest-running water quality conference included a presentation from our own Aubrey Ferris and Patrick Smart, PE, who shared MSK’s innovative methods for identifying lead service lines with a packed room of water, wastewater, and stormwater professionals.

We’re proud to be part of the team that helped bring this exciting project to life! 🎉🚧

The recent groundbreaking marks a major step toward enhancing community access, and includes plans to improve the museum’s entrance, refresh the exterior, and add additional parking and dedicated bus spots. Our contributions included survey, permitting, geotechnical work, site design, and construction administration services. You can learn more about the project at mskeng.com.

A groundbreaking ceremony took place on Wednesday at the same time actual renovation work on the Bennington Museum’s parking lot and courtyard was beginning.

We are very excited to celebrate the grand opening of Bennington’s new skatepark. This is a project that’s been close to our hearts and built literally in our own backyard!

This park is a fantastic addition to our community, and MSK is proud to have been part of the team that brought it to life. We can’t wait to join everyone in celebrating this milestone on September 19th! 🛹🎉💥
