One of the newest homes in Billings wasn't built by a big construction company — it was built by high school students.

The finished home on Hunters Ridge Loop marks a milestone: The 50th year and 50th home produced by the Billings Career Center's hands-on construction program.

50 years, 50 homes, and a lifetime of hands-on skills! 🛠️⚡️🔌 - this last Friday we celebrated a massive milestone for the Student Built Home Program here in Billings! 

The Home Builders Association of Billings is proud to fund this project and help to ensure the future of trades and construction in our region.

I would like to, again, thank the HBA Board of Directors for the wonderful gift of a trip to Jackson Hole for some needed time off. Wanted to share some pictures of my trip with everyone, as many were present at the Christmas Gala when I received this gracious gift. My husband & I had an amazing time! I know I promised I wouldn't work. I only took one phone call though and of course my husband had to take a picture of it. LOL The cabin is where we stayed and the deck views of the water and ducks were right outside our cabin door. The wildlife art is from the Wildlife Museum and, of course, the antler arch and Veteran Memorial is in town square. Enjoy the pics!
