Brasfield & Gorrie

Brasfield & Gorrie We don't just build great things, great things build us. We’re the construction company that puts relationships at the heart of our work.

Our locally led teams are made up of true builders united in an ironclad commitment to serve our partners, communities, and the future we’re building toward. Because we know it’s the people behind each project that matter most. Since Brasfield & Gorrie started in 1964, we’ve grown from a local contractor to a national construction company with 13 offices in eight states. We’ve helped clients compl

ete projects that transform communities and power economies. In 2024, we had $6.4 billion in revenues and Engineering News-Record currently ranks us #23 on its Top 400 Contractors list. And during our growth, we’ve maintained the identity that sets us apart—true builders guided by the Golden Rule.

Get a first look at the new federal courthouse coming to Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The U.S. General Services Administration has released design concepts for the building, featuring seven courtrooms, nine judges' chambers, and architecture that pairs classical design with modern functionality. We're proud to serve as Construction Manager as Constructor on this significant landmark that will serve the community for generations.

More details to come on the construction timeline.

The new home for soccer in America is complete right in time for the World Cup. The Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center is the new headquarters for the U.S. Soccer Federation in Fayetteville, Georgia.

The 200-acre site features 17 soccer pitches, an indoor training facility, and a headquarters building with locker rooms, sports medicine and hydrotherapy spaces, offices, a high-performance gym, an indoor futsal court, and dining space. The training center brings all of U.S. Soccer's 27 National Teams under one roof to centralize training, support youth pathways, and strengthen the culture of the game. Best of luck to the U.S. Men's National Team as they compete on the world stage this week!

Our Orlando teammates had a rewarding day serving at The Russell Home, which provides a home-like environment and 24-hour specialized care for children who have severe disabilities. Our team helped organize and stock the pantry and shed, as well as tackle outdoor landscaping projects. We're honored to support an organization that provides such an important service in the community.

For her ambitious spirit, passion for the client experience, and rich community involvement, we're proud to honor our next 2026 Founders Award winner, Jessica McCoy.

Jessica joined Brasfield & Gorrie after hearing from her sister that "the greatest job in the world," a campus recruiting position, had become available. Today, she serves as director of business development and strategy operations manager, partnering with teams on strategic pursuits and initiatives throughout the Carolinas.

A little dirt, big equipment, and a lot of future builders in the making. We loved sharing equipment with the Christ Church Episcopal School community on Touch-a-Truck Day while construction continues on phase one of their Build for the Future campaign. Excited to keep building spaces that will serve students for generations to come.

Big congratulations to Senior Project Manager Sydna Lowe on being names one of Atlanta Business Chronicle's 40 under 40. Sydna started as an intern in 2010 and now oversees a project portfolio of more than $1 billion. She's also helped shape our training program for young project managers and she continues to share her wisdom with the next generation. This recognition is a reflection of her hard work, talent, and the impact she makes every day. Well deserved, Sydna!

Investing in field leadership early shows up on every project that follows. A few of our assistant field managers recently completed a Foundations of Field Management class in Atlanta. They then tested what they learned about planning and communication in an escape room.

For committing to safety, uplifting those around him, and inspiring excellence in others by modeling it himself, we’re honored to recognize William “Gene” Johnson as our next 2026 Founders Award winner.

Gene joined Brasfield & Gorrie in 2006 after getting his start building I-75 in Atlanta. Now a trade foreman, he's known for bringing something else with him on jobs far from home: camaraderie. His teammates say he feels like family when they're from far from their own. Gene's the first to volunteer for late nights to get the job done, and he refuses to compromise on safety.

The Brasfield & Gorrie Founders Award is presented each year to employees who model the values of our founders and serve as leaders and mentors to those around them.
