Why “Nice” is or will cost You Thousands.

In the world of General Contracting, there is a massive difference between being a "nice guy" and being an honest professional with integrity.

Lately, our industry has a serious integrity problem. You’ve seen it, and unfortunately, so of you and some have lived it. You get three bids for a project, two are realistic, and one is suspiciously low. That low-ball contractor is smiling, saying "yes" to everything, and acting like your best friend because they are terrified to lose the sale.

Here is the hard truth: They aren't being nice; they’re being dishonest.

When a contractor underquotes a job just to get their foot in the door, one of two things will happen:
1.They’ll "discover" a dozen extra charges halfway through, roping you into a final bill that’s double the estimate.
2.They’ll realize they aren't making money, cut corners on the ethics of the build, and leave you with a mess that you’ll have to pay someone else to fix later.

Integrity isn’t cheap. It’s expensive because it comes with the weight of responsibility.
