🏗️ Parapet Wall Waterproofing & Masonry Restoration – New York, NY

Another successful exterior restoration completed by Hi Tech Contracting & Restoration Corp.

Our team restored the interior side of a deteriorated parapet wall affected by moisture infiltration, mold growth, efflorescence, and surface cracking. The project began with controlled power washing of the interior parapet wall surface, followed by professional anti-mold and efflorescence treatment to properly prepare the masonry. We removed all failed caulking, deteriorated sealants, and compromised waterproofing materials before sealing the limestone coping joints with premium Sikaflex® concrete-grade sealant to help eliminate future water intrusion.

Critical transition areas were reinforced using the Karnaflex® waterproofing membrane system with reinforcing fabric mesh, while all visible masonry cracks were professionally repaired using a high-strength waterproof cement repair system. To complete the restoration, we applied a premium acrylic elastomeric waterproof coating designed to resist moisture, mold, efflorescence, and harsh New York weather while allowing the masonry to breathe.
