Starting a garage rehab. Yesterday I put in a new side door. Today is roofing and Tuesday we starting with new siding soffit, fascia, and new gutters

Thursday I was a lumber jack and removed so much brush and little trees surrounding the thing. Going to look like a new place shortly.

Please take care of your animals. This evening I was attacked by a dog of the home we were working on. If I do not see the dog slip out behind the homeowner my face is more than likely in trouble tonight. I blocked and moved enough he latched on to my arm vs my face. A 120 lb dog with an aggressive behavior is dangerous to almost anyone. Thank god I wasnt a kid. That kid would have never survived

Current mood is man I need to get checked out but if I file a claim against the homeowner I’m that guy hurting what I’m trying to create. But safety for me and stop this from happening to someone Else also seems important. This dog has been sketchy from day 1 I ever stepped foot in the yard.

Well this is a first for me. We are covering up two skylights on a home. The homeowner send me a picture. Apparently I bought the lone plywood/osb that had the idea of being a Big Dipper pattern. Embarrassing.

I would never purposely do something of this magnitude. I’m on my way to get it swapped though. Wild!

3121 Bever Ave transformation. From yellow to beautiful

We partnered up with Haven Enterprises, LLC and did a complete remodel

Haven installed a new sliding patio door, replace front door, build a new overhang over garage door, widen garage door from 8x7 to a 10x8. Jeremy is fantastic. I would recommend him 10 out of 10 times.

We replaced the roof in June. Over the past few weeks removal of existing 3 layers of siding, new wood 1x around all windows, new metal, new siding, added shakes on east slope seperated by pvc trim board, And above garage, new soffit, new fascia, and new gutters and downspouts.

Colors are Exterior Portfolio Slate D4 and S7 shakes in Espresso.

Once Kevin has the new electrical box installed on south slope I will go finish the last 10 pcs of siding. He is changing out his intake electrical panel.

I will be back in a week if you had any damage. Just call and leave a voicemail. I’ll get back to you. I’m going to spend the next week celebrating both kids now heading to big girl school.

I’m in Florida with the family for a week. I would suggest if you had any significant damage to call your insurance provider.

If you have a contractor offering to cover your deductible that is insurance fraud by the contractor. Don’t allow it. Sounds great but that also shows the type of person you may be dealing with.

Today we took care of Joan in Waterloo. Joan’s roof was old and was in the line of a hail storm. I had reached out to a State Farm agent Waterloo to ask if I could help any of their customers out. Joan was a reference.

Joan reminds me a lot of my mom. Health issues and has to get help to walk much more than a few feet. She Struggles to walk just like my mom. She Falls just like my mom. Kind. Honest. Everything reminded me of my mom. And I was determined to get her a new roof. Well State Farm came through and claimed damage.

Took two months to make it all happen but Joan is now covered. 100% product and labor for the next 15yrs. She doesn’t have to worry how she is going to pay for a new roof now.

We're closing in on finishing Bever Ave. Been a slow process. 18 windows to rewrap, 3 layer tear off, new wood trim around those 18 windows with metal and working around Kevin getting some misc add ons needed done.

I will say the color scheme is looking good and lots of neighbors have drove by and told us we are doing a great job and they love the transformation. That most definitely makes you feel like you are doing it the right way and chasing the dreams of the homeowner for their house and neighborhood curb appeal
