Train car is coming along. Taking an old caboose and turning it into an era accurate man cave. It's been a lot of work so far. I had to put a floor in, put a roof on, built a crows nest lookout area, cut all the rusted out bottoms on the siding and welded new sheet metal in, built a set of steps on one side, got a spot for the woodstove built and spray foamed in, and started building the high bench seats in the crows nest lookout area. Still got a long way to go but definitely one of the coolest builds I've been part of. Stay tuned for finished product.

Had an old rail car that pulls boats out to repair. All the I beam cross members were rusted out along with some pipe and pins. I torch cut out all the corroded material and replaced with new I beam. Also replaced the rusted pipes and made some custom pins to connect the 2 sections of the car together. Turned out great just in time for winter.

Customer wanted a fishing platform for his boat so he could bowfish off the bow. He gave me dimensions and I fabricated an aluminum platform with 2" x 2" square tubing and 1/4" plate. I added (4) 4" x 4" legs and feet. Finally I built a 2' railing to lean over and a short step in the back to help climb on the platform.

Customer brought in an old part off a van and needed two new ones fab'd up. I traced some templates from the old part and cut them with a plasma cutter. Got all the holes drilled and welded together.

This one was interesting. Made a couple parts out of aluminum pipe and a piece of square stock running down the middle of the pipe. The customer will pour melted down lead in and will have a molding he can attach to the bottom of fishing nets for weights. It unbolts and splits in 2 for ease of removal when the molding is cooled.

Had a customers tractor arm completely rust off at the end of it where the bucket attachment pins through. I plasma cut the rust off back to workable metal. Started welding rest of the arm back on along with fishplates on the top and bottom. Next I welded a one inch tubing sleeve through it for the pin to go through. Once I got the arm finished I cut the busted up ends off the bucket attachment and welded new metal on it. I put pieces of that one inch tubing on the attachment and lined them up with the sleeve in the arm. Finally I made a pin and put it all back together. I threw a little rattle can on it to prevent surface rusting. Turned out really good.

Pictures don't really do this justice. Sheeted the walls and ceiling with steel plate and flat barred the seems. Used steel channel for the floor trim and door ways. Custom built steel bookshelf and coffee bar with lights in each compartment. Custom shelf in front and with a Murphys door in the center. It was quite a challenge at times but turned out incredible.
