Have an interest in Guidance, Navigation, and Controls? Apply to be a part of our Dynamic’s GNC team, applications opening August 18th!

Our GNC team is responsible for designing the flight dynamics and stability of our hybrid lander! The team is designing the entire autopilot, building a sub-scale test vehicle (Mini Maverick), and is responsible for post-flight data processing.

Essential Background Skills:
-Flight Dynamics / Dynamical Systems (reference frames, physics, etc)
-Classical Control Theory (PID)
-Programming (matlab, c++)
-Advanced math knowledge (diff eq+)

Desired skills:
-Signal processing (Fourier / frequency domain analysis)
-Modern Control Theory (LQR, etc)
-State Estimation (Kalman filtering)
-Guidance algorithms
-Trajectory design
-State Space Modeling

Other welcomed skills:
-Flight computers
-Avionics

Desired experience but not required:
-GNC / relevant internship or research experience
-Personal controls-related projects
