Recapping Week 4 of the Centennial Hunt, we're taking a look back at the Old Brick House, also known as the Brick House at Conjurer's Neck.

According to the historical marker on site, the Kennon family built the house in the mid-18th century, and it served for years as a navigational landmark on the Appomattox River. The site itself has an even longer history, with evidence of Native American occupation dating back to 1000-3000 BC.
