Happy Halloween from the SCCR crew! 🎃👻

We traded in the polos and work boots for some costumes and got the team together for a little Halloween fun!

Between the costumes, food, and plenty of laughs, it's safe to say we had a great time! 😂

We work hard around here, but we definitely know how to have a little fun, too!

Wishing everyone a fun and safe Halloween from all of us at Southern Custom Construction and Roofing!

🏠 Your roof needs to breathe, but probably not for the reason you think!

A lot of homeowners think attic ventilation is there to keep their attic cool. But that's not actually its main purpose!

Proper attic ventilation helps manage heat and moisture buildup, protecting your roof decking, insulation, and overall roofing system.

Without proper ventilation, you could end up dealing with:

💧 Moisture buildup and potential mold growth
🏠 Deteriorating roof decking
🔥 Excessive heat buildup that can contribute to roofing material deterioration

And here's something else most people don't realize. More vents don't necessarily mean better ventilation!

It's all about having the right balance of intake and exhaust airflow.

That's why we look at the entire roofing system, not just the shingles!

Not every roof needs to be replaced. Yep, we said it! 😂🏠

Sometimes a repair is all that's needed, and sometimes a full replacement really is the better option.

That's why we believe in actually getting on the roof, taking photos, documenting what we find, and walking homeowners through their options.

No scare tactics. No telling you that you need a whole new roof just because we sell them.

Just honest assessments and helping you make the best decision for your home.

Integrity First. Service Always.

🏠 Roof Tip Tuesday!

Did you know that your pipe boots are one of the most common places for roof leaks to start?

Over time, the rubber seals around your plumbing vents can crack and deteriorate from exposure to the sun and weather.

And sometimes, all it takes is one good rainstorm for that little crack to become a big headache!

The good news? Catching it early can be a pretty simple fix.

That's also why our most popular roofing package includes Lifetime Pipe Boots! We believe in using quality materials that are built to last, even on the little things most homeowners never think about.

Just one more thing that sets SCCR apart!

🏠 Quick question for all our homeowners!

If you could change ONE thing about the outside of your house, what would it be?

🏠 A brand-new roof
🎨 New siding or a fresh color
🍂 New gutters
✨ A complete exterior makeover

We're curious! Are you keeping things the way they are, or have you been dreaming about a little upgrade?

A little Sunday encouragement! ❤️

“Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.”
— Colossians 3:23 (NLT)

Whether we're on a roof, meeting with homeowners, or working behind the scenes, this is a reminder that how we do our work matters just as much as the work itself.

Whatever this week has in store for you, give it your best and do it with purpose.

Happy Sunday from all of us at SCCR! ❤️

🎉 We've got another birthday in the SCCR house!

Help us wish our Sales Manager, Les Springob, a BIG Happy Birthday! 🎂

Between keeping the sales team on track, answering a million questions, and dealing with the daily chaos around here, we're pretty sure Les has earned himself an extra slice of cake. 😂

All jokes aside, we're glad to have Les as part of the SCCR family and appreciate everything he brings to the team!

Happy Birthday, Les! We hope your day is full of good food, lots of laughs, and a team that behaves itself for once! 😂

Everybody show Les some birthday love in the comments!

Just another day on the roof in Lexington, SC! 🏠

Old shingles are off, new underlayment is going down, and our crew is hard at work on another roof replacement!

A lot goes into a new roof before that first shingle ever gets installed, and we're all about making sure the work underneath is done right, too.

Can't wait to show y'all the finished product!

Reviews like this make our day! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A huge thank you to William for trusting SCCR with his home and taking the time to leave us such a great review!

We know dealing with roof damage and insurance claims isn't exactly anyone's idea of fun. 😂 That's why we work hard to make the process a little easier.

And a big shoutout to our roofing crew for putting in a 12+ hour day to get the job done right!

We appreciate you, William!
