Owner Matt Dowdy was born and raised in Lowndes County and has proudly built his business in the community he calls home. From an early age, Matt honed his craft by building furniture with his father and grandfather. It was there he developed a deep respect for the trade and the carpentry skills that would shape his career.

Throughout his teenage and young adult life, Matt gained extensive experience in residential construction, commercial construction and project management. This hands-on experience allowed him to master the fundamentals of building while learning the importance of excellence and dependability.

Today, Matt is a licensed contractor specializing in new builds, remodels and restoration of historic homes. He combines meticulous craftsmanship with a refined eye for detail, delivering projects that are both elegant and enduring. His commitment to quality, integrity and craftsmanship ensures every project is completed to the highest standard.

Outside of his professional life, Matt treasures time with his family. He is married to Leah Dowdy, a local Realtor with Coldwell Banker Frady & Associates, and together they are proud parents to a son, with another little boy expected in May of 2026. He looks forward to passing on his love for building to his children.
