This month’s Employee Spotlight is a little different, as we take the opportunity to recognize Marv Armour during his final month with us at Schaafsma.
Marv joined Schaafsma in April of 2007 as a seasoned technician with a passion for growth, not only for himself, but for the company as well. Over the past 19 years, we’ve experienced the good, the bad, and everything in between in this trade we all love, and through it all, Marv has been someone we could always count on.
He has been a true fixture at Schaafsma, not only for his ability to diagnose and fix the problems that leave the rest of us scratching our heads, but also for the countless hours he’s spent mentoring and helping generations of service technicians learn and grow in their careers.
While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye, we are incredibly grateful for the nearly two decades of dedication, knowledge, laughter, and friendship Marv has shared with all of us.
From everyone here at Schaafsma, we wish you nothing but the best in all the adventures retirement has in store for you, “Old Man!” Thank you for everything, it has truly been a pleasure working alongside you.
