The brotherly competition was fierce today as Jim and Barry battled it out to see who would be the first to reach 50 fish! After 6 hours on the river we caught 140 fish, both brothers reached their goal and proudly earned their 50 Fish Pin! Thats wraps up the 2026 family reunion. Safe travels home, everyone.

Jim, Barry, and I are the last three still fishing from our reunion group! We had a great day on the river today, putting 157 fish in the boat. Barry also received another 50+ fish pin today. Congratulations, Barry, on another great accomplishment! Thanks to F & S Tackle 2 Bigdady Rods

Today’s total was 362 fish in the boat! We added my brother Wayne to the mix, along with a great shore lunch to break up the day a little bit. Everyone on the boat earned their 50-fish badge today, and Jack finished the day with an incredible 104 fish! 🎣 That’s quite an accomplishment and a day to remember. Over two days, Uncle Jim, Uncle Barry, cousin Jack, and I put 410 fish in the boat! Jim was lucky he had his hat on, or his younger brother Barry might have stolen the show and ended up with the biggest catch of the day!

Dave and I had a relaxing morning at Francis Slocum Lake. We caught a mixed bag of fish and had the whole lake to ourselves. Doesn’t get much better than that! Thanks F & S Tackle 2 Bigdady Rods Francis Slocum State Park

Mike and Mike Jr. came up from the Garden State and absolutely crushed it this morning, putting 103 fish in the boat!
Mike Jr. stole the show, not only catching the most fish, but also landing the biggest of the day—a beautiful 18¼” smallie on the very first cast! Talk about starting the day off right! Mike Jr earned his 50 Pin today but I forgot to give it to him. It will be in the mail on Monday morning.
If you haven’t been on the river in October I still have a few days left.

This morning I had a young fellow who was a little camera shy, but we sure had a great day on the river🎣
We caught 88 fish in just 3½ hours — that’s right around 25 fish an hour! I’d say the fall bite has officially started! 🍂🐟 Thank you F & S Tackle 2 Bigdady Rods

I had the pleasure of fishing with Jeff today! He told me this morning that he had other obligations, so our trip could only last 2½ hours. We worked together like a well-oiled machine and caught 60 fish in that short time!
That’s an incredible 24 fish per hour! 🎣🔥

This year's Hunts for Healing Foundation fishing trip was a success with Brian, Ken, Pete, and Warren aboard. I feel fortunate to participate in this remarkable event.
