This summer, ERMCO donated $2,500 to Trimble Fire & Rescue in Trimble, Tenn., reinforcing our continued commitment to the communities where we live and work.

The town of Trimble—home to just over 500 residents—is in northeastern Dyer County. Established in 1905, Trimble Fire & Rescue is a volunteer department serving not only Trimble but also the surrounding areas of Dyer, Obion, and Gibson counties. With a team of five firefighters, two EMS personnel, and administrative support, the department relies on community contributions to operate effectively.

ERMCO teammate and Trimble Mayor Ben Sturdivant presented the donation to the department. He is a member of the Maintenance team at the Dyersburg Three-Phase facility.

“As a volunteer department operating with a limited budget, grants and community donations are essential to maintaining and improving our services,” Sturdivant said. “Donations help fund firefighter training and purchase emergency equipment needed to serve our citizens. Thank you, ERMCO, for your donation.”

ERMCO is proud to support first responders and invest in the safety and well-being of the communities we call home.

Maurice Jordan, Three-Phase Core & Coil Department Supervisor in Dyersburg, received the Patriot Award from Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR).

Nominated by a member of his own team, Jordan was honored for his unwavering support of employees serving in the National Guard and Reserve. From flexible scheduling to staying connected during deployment, his leadership reflects a deep commitment to people.

During the presentation, retired Tennessee Air National Guard Colonel Dan Callahan reminded everyone that supporting military service members is a team effort—thanking Team ERMCO for stepping up when it matters most.

Jordan’s recognition is a powerful example of what it means to care for our people and their families, and we thank you for embodying ERMCO’s commitment to support those who serve us.

Last week in Boston, ERMCO connected with utility leaders and partners at the 2026 American Public Power Association (APPA) National Conference to discuss one of the electric industry’s most important challenges: preparing for the next phase of transformer demand.

During a panel discussion, ERMCO’s Chief Sales Officer Kurtis McMillen joined Jason Stabbs, Senior Director at Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas, and Philip Clark, Executive Vice President at United Utility Supply, on navigating today’s utility and distribution market. McMillen shared ERMCO’s perspective on lessons learned from the 2021 transformer shortage, the continued growth in three-phase transformer demand, the Department of Energy’s 2029 efficiency standards, and how proactive planning and strong partnerships can help strengthen supply continuity.

Thank you to APPA for the opportunity to share industry insights and technical information with public power utilities and municipal partners. We also appreciate everyone who stopped by our booth to connect with the ERMCO team. We look forward to continuing the conversation at next year’s conference!

ERMCO’s commitment to the communities it serves goes far beyond keeping families powered. Our teammates are making an impact by volunteering - helping others locally and around the world.

Teammates from Athens, Ga., Bristol, Wis., and Dyersburg, Tenn., recently came together to support two meaningful programs: Feed My Starving Children and Feed the Need.

In Athens, 93 teammates packed an incredible 256,608 meals that will reach families in 57 countries. In Bristol, teammates marked their third consecutive year participating in Feed My Starving Children by packing 74,880 meals for children across the globe. In Dyersburg, Materials Department and Transformation Teammates stepped up by distributing food boxes to hundreds of Dyer County residents in need.

These efforts are a powerful reminder that the same hands that manufacture ERMCO transformers also deliver hope. While our legacy is built on excellence, it’s the compassion and service of our people that truly define who we are.
