Last week, in honor of National Work Zone Safety Week, we were proud to see so many of our team members showing support for the men and women who help lead and protect our safety culture every day, from our executive team and division managers to our field crews and support staff.
As we move further into this construction season, we’re asking everyone to stay vigilant and slow down in work zones.
Unfortunately, we’ve already experienced several incidents this year involving drivers going through cones and barrels. We understand that road construction can be stressful, confusing, and inconvenient in the middle of busy daily life, but for our crews, it’s personal.
Behind every hard hat is someone’s dad, mom, son, daughter, brother, sister, grandparent, uncle, aunt, cousin, or friend.
For more than 70 years taking care of our people has always been at the heart of what we do.
Please help us protect the workers building West Tennessee.
Slow down. Stay alert. Move over when possible. Every life in a work zone matters.
