Every press builder publishes the same four numbers. Colors, web width, top speed, registration accuracy.

Here's what those numbers never tell you:
- how long it takes to reach sellable product
- how the press behaves on a job change
- whether top speed is a number the machine visits or a number it lives at.

The RFP-C will be running at Booth 719 the way it would run on your floor. Not crawling for a crowd. Not looping a video.

Stand in front of it for ten minutes. You'll learn more than a brochure could tell you in a year.

A converter called us last October with a press down and a part number he'd been chasing for three days. Two suppliers had already told him the platform was too old to support. We had it on the shelf in Egg Harbor Township, and it went out that afternoon.

His words when he called back: "I should have called you first."

He wasn't wrong. But the more useful lesson is what came before it. He knew that part was marginal back in August. It became an emergency in October because nobody had time to deal with it in September.

The next few weeks are when everything tightens at once. Travel, show season, fourth quarter orders stacking up. The part on your "we should probably" list is the one that takes a press down while half your team is out of the building.

Send us the list before it turns into a 6 a.m. phone call. We can help!

There's a tool in a lot of pressrooms that isn't really a tool.

It's a razor blade. Or a hand saw. Or whatever was within reach the last time somebody needed a core cut. The cuts come out uneven, the edges are rough, and every one of them is a hand injury waiting on a bad day.

Core cutting stays manual for years in most plants because it never feels big enough to solve. Then you watch a dedicated cutter do it clean, square and repeatable with no exposed blade, and the old way looks like exactly what it was.

The Supercell core cutter handles it. Designed and built in New Jersey, like everything in the Supercell line.

Worth knowing: we didn't start building American pressroom equipment when tariffs made it fashionable. Supercell launched in 1999, purpose-built for narrow web, and it's been made here every year since. Ships in 1 to 2 weeks.

If your core cutting is still a razor blade and a steady hand, let's fix that this quarter. Call 800-646-2212 and tell us your core sizes.

Two weeks from today, the doors open in Chicago.

For the first time, North American converters will watch the Rotocon RFP-C run at production speed. 8 colors. 17-inch web width. Fully servo-driven across every print unit. An ultra-short web path that cuts waste by up to 70% against legacy line shaft presses.

You can read those numbers on a spec sheet. What you can't read is how quickly it converges on color, how it sounds at full speed, or what the waste looks like between setup and first sellable pull.

That part only happens in person.

If a press decision sits anywhere on your horizon in the next 6 to 18 months, put Booth 719 on your list before you sign anything. Private demo slots are going fast, and they're first come at rotocon-usa.com/win.

September is the month we've been pointing at all year.

LOUPE Americas opens in Chicago in two weeks. The inaugural North American converting show, and both teams will be on the floor: Q360 Group at Booth 320, Rotocon USA at Booth 719 with the RFP-C running live.

Between now and then, nothing here slows down. Parts ship. Orders get filled. The phones stay covered. A trade show has never been a reason to leave a converter waiting on a bearing.

If Chicago is on your September calendar, block twenty minutes for us. If it isn't, call anyway and we'll bring the show to you.

Happy Labor Day!

It's 3:30 on a Friday afternoon. The press is down. The part that failed is something nobody can identify immediately, on a platform that "nobody supports anymore."

The first call goes to the OEM. Closed for the day.

Second call, a national distributor. They have something similar but aren't sure if it's the right fit. They'll know Monday.

Third call, a local supplier. Never heard of the press model.

Fourth call: Q360 Group.

The person who picks up has actually worked on that press before. Knows the platform. Pulls up the part number in under two minutes. It's in stock in New Jersey.

"We can get that out today if you call before 5."

It shipped that afternoon. The press was running by Monday morning.

This isn't a story we made up. It's a version of a call we get more often than you'd think - and it's exactly why we built the inventory and the team the way we did.

When you need a part on a Friday, you want Q360 Group on your list.

A converter called us recently. He'd been running the same press for 18 years.

Not because it was perfect. Because replacing it always felt like a bigger project than he had time for. New equipment meant a capital conversation, a vendor relationship he'd have to start from scratch, and a transition that would disrupt a production floor that was finally running smoothly.

So he kept running it.

Then he called Q360 Group about a trade-in. We assessed his press, gave him a fair number based on what flexo equipment actually sells for in this market - not a depreciation table - and put that value toward a Rotocon CHROME RFP.

German-engineered. Servo-driven. Fully expandable as his business grows. And backed in North America by the same Q360 Group team he already had a relationship with.

"I should have done this five years ago" were his exact words.

Q360 Group is Rotocon's exclusive North American trade-in partner. If you've been putting off the conversation, LOUPE Americas in September is the right time to start it. See the CHROME RFP run live before you decide.

Most pressrooms don't think about plate mounting tape until something goes wrong.

Then it's all anyone's thinking about.

Here's what that usually looks like: plates lifting mid-run on a job that was fine last week. Registration that's inconsistent in a way that doesn't respond to impression adjustments. Density variation across the web that keeps getting attributed to the anilox or the ink when the real culprit was the tape spec the whole time.

Tape is specified by durometer - the hardness of the foam - not just thickness. The wrong durometer for the substrate compresses unevenly, creates inconsistent plate-to-surface contact, and introduces variability that looks like a press problem but traces back to the supply room.

Q360 Group is a licensed 3M Master Distributor for flexographic plate mounting tapes and carries the full tesa range. We match spec to application. Not just what's in stock: what's actually correct for your press, your substrate, and your job.

The right tape is a conversation, not a catalog lookup. Start that conversation at Q360group.com

The most expensive maintenance decision a press operation makes is usually not a decision at all.

It's the absence of one.

Pushed PM intervals. Worn components that get compensated around instead of replaced. Setup drift that gets absorbed into "how the press runs now." None of these feel urgent in the moment. All of them compound until the press makes the decision for you.

Q360 Group builds preventative maintenance programs around your specific equipment and production schedule. And here's what makes it different: when our technicians find something that needs a part, that part is already in New Jersey. No waiting on sourcing. No separate vendor relationship to manage. No lead time conversation while your press sits.

One call. One team. Parts, service, and technicians all over the country - ready before you need them.
