Recently, members of the Hartman & Hartman team spent the day at City Mission, refreshing landscaping, spreading mulch, planting flowers, and helping prepare the campus for the summer season. More importantly, it allowed us to spend time with residents, share conversations, and support an organization that makes a meaningful difference in so many lives.

Despite the less-than-perfect weather, we had a great time at the AADE Appalachian Blast last week!

It was a great opportunity to connect with others in the industry, build relationships, and enjoy some time together. Even better, the event supported the AADE scholarship fund, helping invest in the next generation of industry professionals.

At Hartman & Hartman, caring for our people extends beyond the workday.

For the past several years, John Bakewell has served as our company chaplain, offering encouragement, prayer, and support to employees and their families during life's most difficult moments.

John says one of the things that makes Hartman & Hartman unique is the weekly Friday morning prayer meeting, which reflects the company's commitment to faith, integrity, and caring for others.

As John shared:
"The strong sense that we are family, not just employees, the emphasis placed on integrity, and the importance of maintaining a healthy relationship with the Lord have always been a strong draw for me."

Inspired by Galatians 6:2, John's mission is simple: to walk alongside others, bear their burdens, and remind every member of the Hartman & Hartman team that they are never alone.
