Turning your thermostat way up when you leave for the day may save a little energy, but it can also let humidity creep into your home.

When your HVAC system doesn’t run enough, it can’t properly remove moisture from the air. That extra humidity can make your home feel sticky, cause musty odors, and make your system work harder when you turn it back down later.

Myth: Geothermal systems are complicated and require more maintenance than traditional heating and cooling systems.

Fact: Geothermal systems are virtually maintenance-free. In general, the only maintenance required is periodic checks and filter changes.
