We are so proud to announce the promotion of Katrina DiLorenzo to Business Analyst!

Katrina joined AFG back in late 2016, and over the past nine years, she has become an integral part of who we are. She has kept our New York office running, supported project accounting, jumped in on proposals, and brought a steady, positive presence to everything she touches across programs with GSA, New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), National Park Service, and NYC DDC/DCAS.

What makes Katrina stand out isn't just what she does, it's how she does it. She is a Procore-certified Project Manager, a FEMA badge holder, and a licensed Notary, and she brings that same commitment to growth and excellence to her work every single day.

"Katina has been the glue for the New York office for many years now and has been extremely professional through some very adverse situations. She is a rock and stands for the good of AFG in all ways. We are so very happy that you are a part of the AFG Family!" says CEO Cheryl O'Connor.

This promotion is a reflection of nearly a decade of showing up, stepping up, and making the people and projects around her better. At AFG, we truly believe that exceptional service starts with exceptional people, and Katrina is a wonderful example of that.

Congratulations, Katrina. We're lucky to have you!

QA General Inspector Ana Lorena Alvarez, Assoc. AIA, CQM, and former LA.IDEA DC Board member had the distinct honor of welcoming Jaime Correa as our 12th Maestro de Arquitectura on November 6th at the Embassy of Colombia.

The evening began with a tertulia (an intimate dialogue between Jaime Correa and a select group of LA IDEA members). In this setting, members were able to hear his reflections on architecture, urbanism, and the evolving role of design in shaping communities. His insights sparked thoughtful conversation, allowing participants to engage with him on both professional and personal levels.

Following the tertulia, the program opened to a wider audience, where Correa shared his vision and experiences with passion and clarity. Guests were inspired not only by his architectural expertise but also by his commitment to fostering dialogue around the future of cities and the human experience within them. The evening ended with more networking, along with celebrating the vibrant exchange of ideas that defines the Maestros.
