Clean Energy Co-op Developing Community Through Clean Energy In Northeast and Southeast Pennsylvania.

The Co-op was founded in May 2014 and will accomplish its mission by carefully considering and only then investing in local projects, generally associated with conservation, renewable or clean energy, that have a strong likelihood over a significant time period to provide financial as well as other positive returns to both the community and the Co-op.

We are happy to announce that the Clean Energy Co-op is moving forward with our ninth solar project and our third project in the Philadelphia area: a 185.8 kW system on the roof of the Valley Greene cooperatively-owned apartment building in the East Falls section of Philadelphia. This is the Co-op’s largest project to date!

UGI installed the bi-directional meter last week, so the solar PV system on the roof of the church is now online and fully operational at this point!! We can view the public SolarEdge dashboard that is monitoring the system to check on production.
