Watch almost any pharmaceutical commercial and you'll notice a familiar pattern: a promise of relief followed by a long list of warnings and side effects.

At FibroBiologics, we're researching fibroblasts and their biological role in immune modulation. Unlike many therapies designed to suppress parts of the immune system, fibroblasts are being studied for a different biological approach.

As science continues to evolve, so should the questions we ask about the future of medicine.

FibroBiologics announced that the first patients have been enrolled and dosed in the Phase 1/2 clinical trial evaluating CYWC628 for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers.

The prospective, multicenter, randomized study is being conducted across multiple sites in Australia and is designed to enroll up to 120 patients. The trial will evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of CYWC628, FibroBiologics’ investigational topically administered allogeneic fibroblast-spheroid cell-based therapy.

An interim analysis will be conducted after participants complete six weeks of treatment to assess primary safety and efficacy endpoints.

Stem cells dominate the regenerative medicine conversation.
But there’s another cell gaining attention: fibroblasts.

Fibroblasts outnumber stem cells 5,000 to 1 in the human body and are being studied for their role in regeneration and immune modulation.

FibroBiologics is advancing research into how fibroblasts may support wound healing, tissue regeneration, and immune health.

👉 The future of regenerative medicine may have been inside the body all along.

Did you know fibroblasts outnumber stem cells 5,000 to 1 in the human body?

Yet despite being one of the body’s most abundant cells, fibroblasts have remained largely overlooked in regenerative medicine.

FibroBiologics is advancing research into the regenerative and immune-modulating potential of fibroblasts, including applications in wound healing, tissue regeneration, and immune health.

👉 Sometimes the future of medicine starts with what’s been there all along.

Fibroblasts are the most abundant cells in the human body.
They outnumber stem cells 5,000 to 1, yet they’ve remained largely overlooked in regenerative medicine.

FibroBiologics is advancing research into the regenerative and immune-modulating potential of fibroblasts, including applications in wound healing, tissue regeneration, and immune health.

Our clinical research includes diabetic foot ulcers, with broader exploration into advanced wound care, burn care, and post-operative healing.

👉 This isn’t just a single treatment approach. It’s a platform built around the untapped potential of fibroblasts.

As you age, thymic function naturally declines.

That change can impact how the immune system recognizes and responds to potential threats over time.

The thymus plays a critical role in training T cells and supporting immune surveillance throughout the body.

FibroBiologics is advancing research focused on exploring ways to support thymic function and better understand its role in immune aging and long-term health.

👉 The goal is to better understand how immune system function changes with age and what role thymic restoration may play in the future of longevity science.

“When medicine starts restoring function, everything changes.”
— Pete O’Heeron, Founder & CEO of FibroBiologics

For decades, medicine has largely focused on managing symptoms.

Today, advances in cell-based therapeutics are opening the door to a different approach, one centered on restoration, regeneration, and supporting biological function at the cellular level.

👉 This is the conversation shaping the future of medicine.

As we age, the thymus gland gradually loses function, impacting how the immune system generates and trains T cells over time.

By the time many people reach their 60s and 70s, thymic activity has declined significantly.

FibroBiologics is advancing research into thymic organoids designed to help support thymic function using fibroblast cells and thymic cells combined into a small functional organ-like system.

👉 In preclinical studies, these organoids have demonstrated the ability to remain functional and generate T cells over extended periods following subcutaneous injection.

What if aging isn’t just about getting older…
but about how your immune system changes over time?

As we age, immune function naturally shifts, impacting how the body recognizes and responds to threats.

One key part of that process is the thymus, which plays a major role in training T cells that help protect the body.

👉 Understanding immune aging may help shape the future of longevity science and immune health research.

Did you know there’s a difference between lifespan and healthspan?

Lifespan is how long you live.
Healthspan is how long you stay healthy, active, and functioning well over time.

As longevity science evolves, the conversation is shifting beyond simply extending life and toward supporting quality of life as we age.

👉 Understanding how the immune system changes over time is becoming an important part of that discussion.
