APT Research’s KSC SMASS EGS team recently supported inert segment Booster training operations in the Vehicle Assembly Building, ahead of NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration's dual crane operations.

Since then, loaded booster segments have arrived in the VAB, and the EGS SMASS team is providing mission assurance support as Artemis III booster stacking operations get underway.

The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope has recently arrived at KSC.

The RST Payload arrived via the Pegasus barge, was offloaded, and transported to the Payload Hazardous Processing Facility (PHSF) where it’ll undergo test/checkout, Maximum Expected Operating Pressure (MEOP) testing, and hazardous fueling operations. The SMASS Launch Services team is thrilled to have it onsite.

Launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon heavy lift vehicle is still planned for September 2026.
