We had a great week at the MPS World Summit in Washington, D.C.!

The event brought together leaders from across the microphysiological systems (MPS) community to share advancements, foster collaboration, and explore the future of human-relevant research models. During the summit, employee-owners presented posters highlighting our work in Placenta-on-a-Chip, Tissue Chips in Space 2.0, and high-throughput organoid assays.

In addition to sharing our research, the team connected with customers, collaborators, and new vendors to support the continued growth and expansion of our MPS capabilities.

Last week, we enjoyed a great day on the course for the 32nd Annual CFD Research Golf Scramble! ⛳️

This year’s tournament at Gunter’s Landing brought together a record number of players with 10 teams competing, including several new employee-owners joining in on the tradition for the first time. From team bragging rights and longest drives to plenty of laughs along the way, it was a great day spent with teammates across the company.

Congratulations to this year’s winning teams and competition winners. We’re already looking forward to continuing the tradition next year!

Also, based on the winners, we’re starting to think the Project Management Office might be recruiting directly from the PGA Tour. 😉

We were proud to attend and sponsor the 40th Anniversary of the Gate To Gate Memorial Run/Walk at Eglin Air Force Base this past weekend!

This meaningful event brought the community together to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Our team was honored to walk the historic 4.4-mile course together in support of the mission and the Eglin community.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support Eglin Air Force Base and look forward to continuing to be part of this incredible community!

Another year, another step forward for heart health! ❤️

CFD Research was proud to once again participate in the Huntsville Heart Walk alongside so many others in our community committed to making a difference.

Next-generation propulsion just got a boost! CFD Research has been awarded a NASA contract to advance next-generation propulsion nozzle technologies for space and hypersonic applications.

Rotating detonation engines are an emerging and more efficient way to generate thrust, but key components like nozzle design remain a critical area for development. We're building a comprehensive framework combining high-fidelity simulation, modeling, and experimental validation to optimize nozzle performance, efficiency, and stability.

This work includes a collaboration with the University of Alabama in Huntsville to validate performance and help bring these technologies closer to real-world application.

We boogied the night away for a great cause at A Night for Enable: Disco Nights!🪩🕺

CFD Research was proud to be recognized with both the Warrior of Philanthropy and Warrior of Dignity awards in the Lightweight category at this year’s event benefiting Huntsville's Enable Madison County.

The Warrior of Philanthropy award recognizes the team that raised the most donation dollars in support of Enable’s mission, while the Warrior of Dignity award honors outstanding participation, volunteerism, and hands-on service throughout the year.

We’re grateful to support Enable Madison County and their mission to help aging and homebound neighbors live safely, independently, and with dignity.
