Industrial air intake filtration is built for the BIG stuff. 💨

A recent FES order included 40 first-stage + 40 second-stage panel filters for a large industrial air intake system.

🔹 1st Stage: Captures larger contaminants & protects the final filter
🔹 2nd Stage: Provides finer filtration for critical equipment
🔹 The goal: Maximum airflow, longer equipment life & less downtime

Filter Element Store has been supplying industrial panel filters since 1976.

Not sure whether your compressor needs ISO 32, ISO 46, or ISO 68 oil?

Choosing the wrong viscosity can affect startup performance, lubrication, operating temperature, and overall compressor life. Our latest guide breaks down the differences between the three most common compressor oil grades and explains when each should be used. ISO 46 is the most common choice for rotary screw compressors, but some applications may require ISO 32 for colder conditions or ISO 68 for higher temperatures and heavier-duty service.

Not all hydraulic filters do the same job, and using the wrong type can lead to premature pump wear, valve damage, and contaminated hydraulic fluid.

Pressure filters, return filters, suction strainers, and offline filters all serve different purposes in a hydraulic system, and understanding the difference makes it much easier to match the correct replacement element.

In this guide, we break down:
• Where each filter type belongs
• Typical micron ratings
• What each filter is designed to protect
• Common mistakes when replacing hydraulic filters

If you’ve ever wondered:
“What’s the difference between a pressure filter and return filter?”
We try to make it easy.
