The owners of Flatiron Panel Products, LLC, David Torres and Bob Freedman, have more than 23 years of combined experience in manufacturing, machining and laminating honeycomb panels. For 23 years, Bob owned Flatiron Machine and Development, Inc. where he perfected his technique for manufacturing honeycomb panels. David has devised numerous new techniques that increase production and the quality of honeycomb panels during his eight years of experience. We manufacture simple aluminum honeycomb panels all the way to very custom. Pictured below is just a couple of very custom panels that we have made recently.
The first picture is a very light weight, but extremely rigid aluminum honeycomb panel utilizing carbon fiber face sheets. The Edge closure is epoxy edge fill that was then painted red.
The second picture is an all black hard anodized aluminum honeycomb panel with many features. These will be used as door panels for a popular amusement park ride.
