⚠️WATERWAY CLOSURE – CHAIN O’LAKES & FOX RIVER⚠️

Due to significant rainfall and continued water flow into the watershed, water levels across the Chain O’Lakes and Fox River are rising and are expected to reach moderate to major flood levels.

🚫 Effective immediately, the Chain O’Lakes and Fox River are CLOSED to all watercraft.

Residents, property owners, and boaters are urged to take immediate precautions:

• Secure your property and implement flood protection measures (including sandbagging where needed)
• Ensure boats and watercraft are properly secured to prevent damage or displacement
• Move valuables, equipment, and vehicles to higher ground
• Contact your local municipality for sandbag availability and additional flood response resources

Water levels are expected to continue rising, and conditions may change rapidly. Please stay alert, avoid the waterway, and follow all posted restrictions.
