One thing I appreciate about working at One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is that our owner believes advisors should understand HVAC systems—not just talk about them.
That means getting out in the field, climbing ladders, getting on rooftops, changing filters, and learning how these systems actually work.
Today's lesson: changing filters on a rooftop unit.
Bonus lesson: if you accidentally drop a filter down into the unit... apparently there's a special retrieval stick hidden in the access closet. 😆
The fact that the stick already existed tells me I wasn't the first person to make that mistake.
Every day I learn something new, and that knowledge helps me better advise homeowners and business owners when it's time to repair, maintain, or replace their HVAC system.
