Ryan and Kristian attended last night’s screening of Ancestral Artistry: The Influence of Africans & Creoles of Color on Louisiana Architecture, joined by Ryan’s mom, Elaine, and sister, Alison.

The documentary highlights the lasting influence of African and Creole builders and craftsmen on Louisiana’s architecture. A great evening celebrating the people and craftsmanship that helped shape the places we know today.

Working more than 100 feet above ground requires planning for every scenario! Our team recently completed emergency rescue training as part of our interior restoration at Immaculate Conception Church, practicing how to safely lower a worker from the scaffold’s upper levels in the event of an emergency. It’s training we hope we’ll never need, but we’re prepared if we do!

Our renovation at Omni Royal Orleans Hotel is back in New Orleans CityBusiness’ Renovation Report as the hotel completes its public spaces renovation with the opening of La Riviera Rooftop & Pool Bar, the project's final phase.

Omni Royal Orleans debuts its renovated rooftop terrace as part of a multi-year hotel renovation set for completion in early 2027.
