Team member spotlight: Jordan McGee, project manager.

A native of North Augusta, SC, Jordan moved to Nashville and began working with us a little over a year ago after managing projects for his father’s residential construction company. Having that experience in residential remodel, he has transitioned into his role at Lone Oak seamlessly. His strong ability to communicate with subcontractors and homeowners, paired with his natural understanding of construction practices, make him a valuable asset to our team.

Outside of work you can find him hiking, fishing, or wood working.

Column Swap: the client thought the existing columns were boring and the faux paint was bad, and we agree. (swipe to the end to see what was there)

A couple of challenges: two columns were hollow and not load bearing, the other two were hiding some metal posts. To make this work we have to split the caps, bases, and columns and fit them around the posts.

Second challenge: our columns came with square bases and caps, but we needed round. made quick work of this with a bandsaw and they got right on the install.

Really looking forward to getting this one wrapped up soon

Can’t wait to share some finished photos of this back porch addition. We also converted the existing back porch into living space and a master sitting room, brand new master closet, and full kitchen remodel.
