Choosing a custom home builder in Nashville is a big decision, and a personal one. You’ll be working closely with your builder for a long time, so it helps to know who they are before that first meeting.

We start by listening. Your architect and designer are part of the team from the beginning, every trade on your home is someone we’ve built with and trust, and no two homes we build are alike.

We grew up in Nashville, and we’re proud to build in the neighborhoods we know best, from Green Hills and Belle Meade to Brentwood and Franklin.

Whenever you’re ready to start, we’d love to hear what you’re planning.

Ten years of building homes in Nashville, and what we’re proudest of isn’t something you can photograph.

It’s the families who trusted us with the place they’d come home to.

The trade partners who care about the details as much as we do. The designers and architects who let us help bring their vision to life.

Every home tells a story, and we’ve been lucky to be part of so many of them.

Thank you for the last ten years. We can’t wait for what comes next.

We build new homes in Nashville that feel like they’ve been here for decades.

Every home we build starts with the family who’ll live there: how they gather, which rooms they’ll actually use, and how the home should feel twenty years from now. Proportions, windows and finishes all get decided with that in mind.

That’s where the soul comes from. We build it in on purpose, and it’s why a new house can feel like home from the very first day.

Custom new construction across the Hillsboro corridor, from Green Hills and Belle Meade to Brentwood and Franklin. If a home like this is something you’ve been thinking about building, let’s talk.

“They just don’t build them like they used to.” It’s one of the most common things we hear from homeowners.

Usually it comes up while they’re standing in an older home they love, pointing out the trim, the heavy doors, the floors that have softened with time.

We understand the feeling. We just don’t agree with it.

Lone Oak Builders is a custom home builder in Nashville, and we still build them like they used to. Our homes are brand new, but they’re designed to carry the character of the homes people still talk about. Solid materials. Details that are made by hand and meant to last. Rooms that feel settled and lived in from the day you move in, and only get better from there.

Every project starts with listening. We design around the family who’ll live in the home, work closely alongside your architect and designer, and build with a small group of trade partners we’ve trusted for years.

From the first sketch to the final walkthrough, you’ll always know where things stand.

We build custom new construction, whole-home remodels, and additions across Green Hills, Belle Meade, Forest Hills, Oak Hill, Brentwood, and Franklin.

If you’ve been picturing a home with that kind of character, we’d love to talk.

A moment for this custom fireplace by our friends .and.co

“Custom” gets used a lot in our industry. For us, it means a home that starts with the people who will live in it, not with a plan pulled off a shelf.

Before we talk about finishes or floor plans, we want to know how you live. Where everyone ends up at the end of the day. How you cook, how you host, and what you need room for now and in ten years. Those answers shape the house more than any trend ever could.

That’s why no two of our homes look alike. One family needs a kitchen built for a crowd. Another wants a quiet study with morning light. Some clients come to us with a clear vision, and others just know the house they have isn’t working.

Either way, the design follows the people.

The result is a home that’s unmistakably yours. Not because of one standout feature, but because hundreds of small decisions were made with you in mind.

That’s the kind of home we love to build.

Some of the most important details in a home are the ones nobody points out.

Project after project, those details in our homes have come from Vintage Millworks.

Good work is rarely done alone. It takes people who care about a sixteenth of an inch as much as we do, and who see a board of white oak as the start of something meant to last generations.

That’s why this partnership means so much to us. In a historic remodel, it means new trim you can’t tell apart from the original.

In a custom build, it means a profile drawn for one house and no other. Either way, our clients live with something that was made for them.

To James and the entire Vintage Millworks team, thank you for the craft, the patience, and the pride you bring to every piece. It’s an honor to build alongside you.

Every new Lone Oak home is built to be lived in for generations, and that goal shapes every decision we make.

When we choose a finish, we think about how it will feel to live with a decade from now, so we put the investment into the places you touch every day, like the front door, the stair rail, the kitchen island and the hardware in your hand each morning.

That same care carries into the craftsmanship. Our trade partners are some of the best in Nashville, and we give them the time to do their work right, which is something you can feel in a home long after the move-in.

Our homes tell meaningful stories, and we build them to keep telling those stories for decades.

Every home has a room that holds it together, and it’s almost always the kitchen. It’s where the day begins and where it tends to wind down.

We bring the same care to every room we build, but the kitchen is where you feel it most, from the layout to the last piece of hardware, because it’s the room you’ll come back to every day.
