Founded in 1988, SCM, Inc. has built a strong reputation for providing high-quality custom machined parts with precision and reliability. Randy has been with the company since 2011 and has continued to expand its capabilities through investments in new technology and equipment.

Following the ribbon cutting, guests are invited to tour SCM’s 20,000-square-foot facility during an open house and enjoy light refreshments. Come out as we celebrate nearly four decades of success and an exciting new chapter for SCM, Inc. and the Smith family!

Welcome new member, SCM Inc Precision Machining!

Smith Class Machine, Inc. is a third-generation, family-owned business with roots dating back to 1988, when it was founded by Wayne Smith. The business was later passed to Wayne’s son, Gary Smith, and daughter, Karen Marsh, and is now in its third generation with Randy Smith. A graduate of New Riegel High School and Sentinel Vocational School, Randy gained additional experience working in the maintenance division of another business, where he expanded his knowledge of machining and learned more about the inner operations of the industry.

At SCM, Inc., precision workmanship, reliability, and on-time delivery are at the heart of what they do. The team understands that every part they produce plays an important role in their customers’ operations and approaches each project with careful attention to detail. Clear communication is also a priority, with honest timelines, prompt responses, and proactive updates throughout the process.

SCM, Inc. has the diversity to produce a wide variety of CNC precision machined components. Their commitment to quality includes modern equipment, thorough inspections, and machining practices designed to consistently deliver accurate and repeatable results.
