From old to modern. 🔨✨

Complete bathroom renovation with new waterproofing, large format tiles, floating vanity, and updated lighting to give the space a clean modern look.

During demolition we also found a vintage Ballantine “King Size” Extra Fine Beer half-quart bottle from around the 1950s–1960s hidden inside the wall — probably left there by someone working on the building decades ago. 🍺 Always interesting what you can find behind the walls in NYC.

Deck Transformation: Start to Finish 🛠️🌞

We completely demoed the old composite decking, which had seen better days. Replaced it with all-new pressure-treated framing for a solid base, and topped it off with composite decking boards in dual-tone gray for a clean, modern look.

🔨 Framing: 2x8 pressure-treated lumber
📏 Spacing: 16” OC joists for added support
🔩 Fastening: Stainless steel deck screws & hidden fasteners for a seamless surface
💧 Slope: Slight angle built in for proper water drainage
🏠 Final Touches: New storage units + plenty of room for furniture & a grill setup

This project was all about durability, low maintenance, and style.
