Root house

The house owner Skylona dream design founder & Principal architect Naziba Noorine.

Principal architect Naziba's brief about her banani house Renovation:

The house get from my grandfather .The house inside I feel my root .

As British royal family member, we have our own principles.
In Bengal history British had their good work & also few negative points.
But, I believe my culture, my England, my history teaches me learn & share with knowledge with the world

Sometimes "renovating" calls for one thing and one thing only. Remove what's unnecessary and address the areas that need fixing. Knowing where to stop is key!

When it was time for me to fix up the house that I was feeling that how my grandfather & his brothers grew up....as governor of east india company in, the house that my great grand parents built with so much love and care around 198 years ago, I simply focussed on fixing specific problems. The house, as such never lacked anything and there was no reason to add to it or change it.

"এই বাড়িটি আমি আমার দাদার কাছ থেকে পেয়েছি। বাড়ির অন্দরে আমি আমার শিকড়ের অস্তিত্ব অনুভব করি।
ব্রিটিশ রাজপরিবারের সদস্য হিসেবে, আমাদের নিজস্ব কিছু নীতি রয়েছে।
বাংলার ইতিহাসে ব্রিটিশদের যেমন কিছু ভালো কাজ ছিল, তেমনি ছিল কিছু নেতিবাচক দিকও।
তবে আমি বিশ্বাস করি—আমার সংস্কৃতি, আমার ইংল্যান্ড এবং আমার ইতিহাস আমাকে শিক্ষা দেয়—জ্ঞান অর্জন করতে এবং সেই জ্ঞান সমগ্র বিশ্বের সাথে ভাগ করে নিতে।

কখনো কখনো 'সংস্কার' বা রেনোভেশনের মূল লক্ষ্য হয় কেবল একটিই—যা অপ্রয়োজনীয় তা সরিয়ে ফেলা এবং যেসব অংশে মেরামতের প্রয়োজন, কেবল সেগুলোর দিকেই নজর দেওয়া। ঠিক কোথায় গিয়ে থামতে হবে—তা জানাটাই এখানে আসল কথা!

যখন এই বাড়িটি সংস্কারের সময় এল—যে বাড়িতে আমার দাদা ও তাঁর ভাইয়েরা বড় হয়ে উঠেছিলেন (ইস্ট ইন্ডিয়া কোম্পানির গভর্নর হিসেবে তাঁদের দিনগুলো কেটেছিল)—যে বাড়িটি আমার প্রপিতামহ-প্রপিতামহী আজ থেকে প্রায় ১৯৮ বছর আগে অসীম ভালোবাসা ও যত্ন দিয়ে গড়ে তুলেছিলেন—তখন আমি কেবল সুনির্দিষ্ট সমস্যাগুলো সমাধানের দিকেই মনোযোগ দিয়েছিলাম। বস্তুত, বাড়িটির কোনো কিছুরই অভাব ছিল না; তাই এতে নতুন কিছু যুক্ত করার কিংবা এর কাঠামোতে কোনো পরিবর্তন আনার কোনো প্রয়োজনই ছিল না।"

Bangladesh is a place of natural beauty.
Here the project it's situated in Bhola, Bangladesh .
My client Mr Shahidul Islam is a business man .
While at first time met my client in 2021 , I found him very helpful understanding & definitely knowledgeable person.

I designed for his dream family in 2021 at first but due to pendamic time for high range of material cost we decided to go for new concept.

So in 2023 re- designed with new concept ✨️.
It's a breeders Award winning project 2023 .

I am blessed since I started work in Bangladesh after my loving Kerala Alhamdulillah I found lot of nice project & as client.
Presently,
The project is almost done.

I am so grateful Mr Shahidul Islam my wonderful client who followed my all instructions during the construction.

Project based on 3500 around sqft area.
Here , my vision was to keep modern & environment friendly clam peaceful Oasis.
The house is my favorite client's dream home.

Here , ground the family living and the water body blends contemporary aesthetics.

1st floor family living terrace, I created with water fall and green lawn

Each corner of the house I designed with feelings & tried give a massage.

এই প্রকল্পটি বাংলাদেশের ভোলায় অবস্থিত।

আমার ক্লায়েন্ট মিঃ শহিদুল ইসলাম একজন ব্যবসায়ী।

২০২১ সালে আমার ক্লায়েন্টের সাথে প্রথম দেখা হলেও, আমি তাকে খুব সহায়ক, বোধগম্য এবং নিশ্চিতভাবে জ্ঞানী ব্যক্তি বলে মনে করি।

আমি প্রথমে ২০২১ সালে তার স্বপ্নের পরিবারের জন্য ডিজাইন করেছিলাম কিন্তু মহামারীর কারণে উচ্চ ব্যয়ের কারণে আমরা নতুন ধারণাটি তৈরি করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছিলাম।

তাই ২০২৩ সালে নতুন ধারণার সাথে পুনরায় ডিজাইন করা হয়েছিল ✨️।

আমার প্রিয় কেরালার পরে বাংলাদেশে কাজ শুরু করার পর থেকে আমি ধন্য, আলহামদুলিল্লাহ, আমি অনেক সুন্দর প্রকল্প পেয়েছি এবং ক্লায়েন্ট হিসেবে।

বর্তমানে,

প্রকল্পটি প্রায় সম্পন্ন।

আমি আমার দুর্দান্ত ক্লায়েন্ট মিঃ শহিদুল ইসলামের প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞ যিনি নির্মাণের সময় আমার সমস্ত নির্দেশাবলী অনুসরণ করেছিলেন।

প্রকল্পটি প্রায় ৩৫০০ বর্গফুট এলাকা ভিত্তিক।

এখানে, আমার লক্ষ্য ছিল আধুনিক ও পরিবেশ বান্ধব ক্ল্যাম-প্রশান্ত মরুদ্যান রাখা।

বাড়িটি আমার প্রিয় ক্লায়েন্টের স্বপ্নের বাড়ি।

এখানে, পারিবারিক জীবনযাত্রার মাঠ এবং জলাশয় সমসাময়িক নান্দনিকতার মিশ্রণ।

প্রথম তলার পারিবারিক বাসস্থানের বারান্দা, আমি জলপ্রপাত এবং সবুজ লন দিয়ে তৈরি করেছি

বাড়ির প্রতিটি কোণ আমি অনুভূতি দিয়ে ডিজাইন করেছি এবং একটি ম্যাসেজ দেওয়ার চেষ্টা করেছি।

Principal architect Naziba's brief about the project design:

I wanted to put my all emotions into the design because when my client came to me just told that he want in this house what I see from my eyes if that would be my house what i give there that's her concept . It was great word as inspiration for me & definitely for her site.

The residence is an architectural delight that looks spectacular with its clean, bold lines defining its glory.

The house is linear that runs along the east- west axis with the entrance being at the centre that parts the public and private spaces in two halves. The house is designed so that minimal heat penetrates and maximum natural light and ventilation floods in all areas.

When me as person met my client he asked do you know the meaning of Ashraful ...that moment when I said yes it's mean Nobel in Arabic..

Then he told that I am inspired by your way of think and I want you create a place where after me my co worker & my family emotions can meet.

I was thinking about the name then decided to keep Ashraful's Majma which means ...the place of meeting inside a Nobel person or can decide something important all together inside the roof...

Then coming to my sketch where nature & emotional connection of mine immerses into the tranquility gateway.

The windows it's give the way of think close to nature & Allah.

The courtyard brings different feelings for my client because I love to read the mind of person.
I believe 🙏 Almighty gives me this as my one of God gift.
